Supply Chain Programs: Inventory Management & JIT

EAGS manages vendor-managed inventory (VMI), consignment stocking, and just-in-time (JIT) programs for operators with predictable material demand. We warehouse inventory at your location or ours, manage replenishment, and coordinate delivery. This reduces your capital tied up in stock while ensuring materials arrive when needed. Programs are custom-priced based on volume, commitment period, and service level.

Common Buyer Questions

What's the difference between VMI and JIT?

VMI: EAGS manages stocking at your location. You pay monthly for on-hand inventory plus usage. JIT: Materials ordered as needed and delivered by agreed date.

What's the typical commitment period?

12–24 months is standard. Longer commitments (3 years+) qualify for better pricing. Shorter programs (6 months) available with premium rates.

Can we adjust material types during the program?

Yes. Within reason. Major shifts may affect pricing. Minor grade/size adjustments are accommodated. Discuss changes with your account manager.

How do you forecast demand?

You provide 12-month rolling forecasts (quarterly or monthly updates). We use your history and planned activity to maintain buffer stock.

What happens to unsold material at program end?

Buyback or return terms are negotiated upfront. Some operators buy out excess; others return it. Pricing reflects market conditions at end of program.

Do you offer consignment pricing discounts?

Yes. Longer commitments, larger volumes, and consignment models receive tiered discounts. Let's build a custom program that works for both parties.
